However, homeowners can double or triple the amount of water wasted by using a water panel that is not made specifically for their unit. Using an OEM water panel ensures the least amount of water waste.
Using a humidifier pad that was not made specifically for your unit can also cause water leaks and ruin the humidifier pad before the end of the season.
